Who builds
the apps
for everyone else.

A second target audience for mSDK v2: South African software and app-development agencies, the kind of shop that builds and maintains mobile apps for a roster of clients — the same role Polymorph played building the Refreshi app. One relationship with an agency like that can put the Peach mSDK into a whole portfolio of client apps at once, because these are literally the people who wire up a payments SDK for a living.

01

Why agencies

A different kind of ICP: not the merchant taking the payment, but the shop that builds the app that takes it.

The main mSDK audience is merchants with a consumer app. This one sits a layer upstream: the agencies those merchants hire to actually build the app. A dev shop rarely has one client — it has a portfolio, and every mobile app in that portfolio eventually needs a payment integration. Win the agency and every future client conversation starts with Peach already in the stack.

How the list was built. Agencies were pulled from SA B2B directories and general search for "app development" / "software development" firms, then deduped against each other and against the main merchant list. Existing Peach customers were excluded before enrichment. Every remaining company was resolved to a LinkedIn company page where one exists, then enriched with two kinds of contact: a commercial decision-maker (founder, CEO, head of business) and a technical one (CTO, lead dev, architect) — the person who'd actually own an SDK integration.
02

Where it landed

Not every agency has a named contact yet. 74 of the 105 have at least one decision-maker or technical lead indexed with a photo, title and LinkedIn profile; the rest are confirmed agencies with a company page but no person enriched yet. All 105 are still valid targets for the company-level Matched Audience — the person index is the layer on top, for outreach.

04

How we built it

Same low-risk tool stack as the main target list — nothing scrapes LinkedIn directly.
01

Discover

SA B2B directories plus general search for app / software development firms, by name and by category.

02

Dedupe

Collapse duplicate listings to one row per company; drop agencies already covered by the main merchant list.

03

Exclude

Remove existing Peach customers before any enrichment spend.

04

LinkedIn enrich

Resolve each company to its LinkedIn page via RapidAPI and DataForSEO, with manual verification on the misses.

05

Persona enrich

Pull a commercial + technical contact per company: photo and title from LinkedIn, work email via BetterContact.

05

Status & next

Living document — this section moves as the list grows.

Discovery → dedupe → exclude → enrich

105 SA dev agencies confirmed, 101 resolved to a LinkedIn company page, 131 decision-makers and technical leads indexed across 74 of them, with photos, titles and work emails where BetterContact found a confident match.

Live in Campaign Manager

The dev-agency company Matched Audience (101 companies) finished matching to ~1,500+ members and is serving. Two dedicated ad sets now run against it — a single-image and a carousel, both on the "build once, ship everywhere" angle — with the person index above feeding the next layer: direct outreach to the 89 verified emails.

Chase the remaining 31

31 confirmed agencies still have no named contact; worth a follow-up enrichment pass before outreach.
